Outstanding work! How long did this piece take? You mentioned in your comments that you did some of it on the train? Not an easy task, as rail transit isn't known for it stability while in motion.
What are the dimensions of your work? Maybe in future submissions you can include some technical info.
I love the way that you rendered the hands on this image. Very creative use of foreshortening, and I especially like the depth that you achieved around the eyes. The vertical format works very well, and draws the viewer upward to the butterflies.
Thank you so much for sharing. I hereby dubb "Bad Hair Day" a favorite!
Keep up the great work, and I look forward to seeing more in the near future!
Hi! You're absoilutely right about putting in technical info as I always like to see it with other people's work. I'll make sure to do that from now on! Just went over to your gallery and really liked what I saw. Am going for a proper look after this!
The dimensions of this are 7.5 x 23.5 cm, & was done using Rotring isograph pens. The parts I do on the train tend to be ares of flat shade where an accidental jolt on the train won't end up with one eye lower than the other! Some train drivers are smoother than others as well.
Thanks very much for the comment it was very helpful!
